Our moose hunting areas, WMU 525 and 526, in the famous Peace River country in northwestern Alberta , Canada , is in prime moose habitat producing trophy class antlers. During the past seasons we have taken several bull moose in the high 50s to low 60s. Again, last season we tagged all clients providing anther 100% on rifle moose hunts. Our moose hunts take place in logged blocks, natural salt licks, lakes and cut-lines. We use pickups or quads to transport you into prime moose hunting areas. All terrain vehicles/quads are used only for transporting game back to our vehicles. Hunting is done on foot.

Moose hunting has been great in the northern portions of Alberta with the odd plus sixty inch, a number of plus fifty inch and a great many thirty and forty inch moose being taken each year. We offer trophy Canadian moose hunts where you measure the antler spread in feet, not inches. Come with us 15 miles in to the wilderness to our remote Canadian moose hunting camp in northern Alberta , Canada . With the abundance of Canadian moose in our hunting area, each hunter has an excellent opportunity at harvesting a quality trophy. In 2004 we were 100% successful during the late season guided moose hunts and in 2005 & 2006 we were 100% successful for our “rut” guided moose hunts.

In Alberta all the Non-Resident licenses are on an allocation system. We have the maximum number of moose allocations that the Alberta Government will allow, so when the allocations are booked, that means we can then book for the next season. In June of each year, when the new regulations come out, we send you a form to be completed and sent back to us. We can then pre-purchase a licence for your requested license and tags.

Archery Moose Rut Hunts - Late September to Mid October. This hunt is done during the rut so bulls can be called in close, we also take advantage of springs and wallows. This is a great opportunity for a P & Y moose. Lodge Moose Rut Hunts - Late September to early October. This is a high success moose hunt that is run out of our main lodge. This hunt takes place during the peak of rut, so bull moose cooperate well with our calling. This hunt also takes place in a high density of moose where bulls will average 40 inches wide.
